DEEP Robotics tests DR02 humanoids directing traffic and guiding visitors in Hangzhou
DEEP Robotics says it field-tested a batch of DR02 humanoid robots in Hangzhou's Xihu District in early October. The robots were trialled at busy intersections and a wetland park for traffic guidance and multilingual visitor help.

DEEP Robotics announced on October 8 that it ran field tests of its DR02 humanoid robots across several sites in Hangzhou's Xihu District in early October, during a period of continuous rain and heavy holiday crowds.
According to the company, the robots were placed at Xixi National Wetland Park to test visitor inquiry and guidance, and at busy urban intersections, including Zheda Road and West Wenyi Road, to test intersection traffic control, order maintenance and tourist consultation.
The company says the robots used voice interaction to give route and transport information in multiple languages and ran traffic-safety awareness messages. The announcement is a company press release and does not include independent performance data.
